O JPA fornece aos desenvolvedores Java um recurso de mapeamento objeto/relacional para gerenciar dados relacionais em aplicações Java.

@Entity define a classe de entidade que você deseja converter em uma tabela em um banco de dados. @Id define a chave principal da tabela. O @GeneratedValue fornece a especificação de estratégias de geração para os valores das chaves primárias.
